Be assured: For Messe Dortmund, the safety and health of all participants in the trade fair - whether exhibitors, visitors or service providers - is our top priority. We follow current developments very closely and are in close contact with all relevant authorities. This enables us to react to a changed situation at any time and take appropriate action. In this way, we want to give exhibitors and visitors a maximum of planning security for their participation in the trade fair. This also includes a comprehensive and detailed hygiene concept, which was developed in consultation with the legislator to ensure compliance with the current Corona specifications during the trade fair.
The ticket sale takes place online. The tickets are also available on mobile devices and allow contactless access to the event.
In addition to your ticket to JAGD & HUND, we ask you to register with your personal contact details for each day – your data will be stored here for the City of Dortmund Health Department in accordance with data protection regulations for a period of 4 weeks. At our entrances, please present your check-in confirmation on your smart phone or as a hard-copy printout. Check-in registration is obligatory for all participants in an event (exhibitors, visitors, service personnel, press and own personnel).
Thanks to online registration and the online tickets, we have a constant eye on visitor numbers and ensure the minimum distance of 1.5 meters can be maintained at all times. Our security personnel keep an eye on the flow of visitors and the spread of people throughout the premises, regulating it where necessary.
For the protection of everyone involved, there is a general obligation to cover mouths and noses during JAGD & HUND – except when seated, e.g. at exhibition stands or in the catering areas. We can provide participants who do not have their own masks with a mouth-and-nose covers in the respective entrance area.
In order to protect the health of all participants, we draw attention at numerous points on site to the fact that people should keep a minimum distance of 1.5 metres and refrain from physical contact and shaking hands.
We will plan the entrance situation individually for each event and calculate the maximum possible number of people for each of our entrances. We also specify minimum distances in the waiting areas. All door systems (except sanitary facilities) remain permanently open to reduce contact with surfaces. Floor stickers on the walkways offer a guide to maintaining the minimum distance of 1.50 metres.
Where necessary, we will examine and implement space extensions for each event. For each event, we specify the aisle widths and walkways in such a way that the minimum distance of 1.5 metres can be maintained. In this way we increase the space for visitors and exhibitors to move around and ensure the necessary safety distance.
Our catering offering complies with statutory hygiene and protection regulations. These include things such as contactless payment and larger eating areas.
Surfaces on site that are touched regularly (such as counters, tables, handrails, ATMs and door handles) are cleaned more. Our toilet facilities are cleaned at very regular intervals. Hand washing and disinfection facilities are provided at sufficient distance. We have disinfectant dispensers available at all essential points on the premises (entrances and toilet facilities).
Party-type events at stands must unfortunately be avoided during Corona times. Exhibitors must keep disinfectants available on their stands and ensure regular disinfection of contact surfaces.
Our event halls are equipped with modern ventilation systems that ensure a continuous exchange of air to reduce aerosol incidence.
A fully-qualified medical service is on hand at all times.
